Young Enterprise
Our resident charity is Young Enterprise.
Young Enterprise is the UK’s leading charity that empowers young people to harness their personal and business skills. We make business relevant to the daily lives of young people. Our programmes spark their energy and enthusiasm, helping them to discover their individual talents and achieve what they thought was impossible.
Primrose Hospice
Primrose Hospice supports patients with life-limiting illnesses and their families as well as bereaved adults and children. It provides the community in north east Worcestershire with the care and support they need during difficult times. Primrose Hospice is an independent charity and relies heavily on support from the local community. The hospice must raise over £1.75 million each year to continue to provide free care and support for patients and their families.
Hogarths Stone Manor, Bromsgrove
Hogarths Hotels, and in particular Hogarths Stone Manor are delighted to be a partner with NWBL – The North Worcestershire Business Leaders. Since my early meeting with Laura and Melanie I was sure that to host the monthly meetings would be beneficial not only to the attendees, but also to the hotel as we went through change of ownership and refurbishment totally £2.5m.
Fellow members of NWBL now use the hotels, refer leads to me and generally support the great network Laura and Melanie have created.
North Worcestershire Economic Development and Regeneration (NWEDR)
In 2010, Bromsgrove, Redditch and Wyre Forest Councils merged their separate economic development and regeneration functions to create a shared North Worcestershire Economic Development and Regeneration (NWEDR) team. The key drivers for this decision were the desire amongst key stakeholders for simplicity, clarity, efficiency and improved impact.
The purpose of the NWEDR shared service is simple. It is to promote and enable growth and sustainable development within North Worcestershire.
